From Us was conceived as a new category of gifting: combining a digital message board with the option to attach luxury, physical gifts curated from independent boutiques.

At inception, the concept existed as:

  • A clear brand vision

  • Strong boutique relationships

  • Early customer demand signals

However, there was no technical platform capable of:

  • Supporting group contributions

  • Abstracting gift value into a flexible token system

  • Seamlessly connecting digital messages with physical fulfilment

We designed From Us as a token-based gifting ecosystem, where:

  • Contributors purchase From Us Tokens

  • Tokens represent flexible, non-product-specific value

  • Tokens are later redeemed for luxury gifts attached to a message board

This abstraction allowed emotional intent and financial contribution to coexist cleanly.

Strategic Rationale

Rather than building a traditional gift marketplace, we:

  • Separated value (tokens) from products

  • Anchored the experience around the message board, not the checkout

  • Allowed boutiques to operate independently while remaining fully integrated

This reduced friction while preserving brand and operational flexibility.
